BioShock 2's Protector Trials pits you against waves of Splicers

BioShock 2s Protector Trials pits you against waves of Splicers

How well can you use BioShock 2's weapons and plasmids? That knowledge will be put to the test for this August's "Protector Trials" DLC where players will be back in the seat of a Proto-Daddy to defend a Little Sister.

Once more, you'll be harvesting ADAM but there will be wave after wave of Splicers hounding you and Little Sister so peak performance is needed to hold your own. Battles will take place in six new maps with three difficulties available to unlock goods such as videos and concept art; 360 and PS3 owners also get seven new achievements/trophies to earn as well.

The "Protector Trials" will be available on August 3 and is just the first of single-player DLC that's planned, some of which will add to Bioshock 2's backstory. It'll cost 400 Microsoft Points or $4.99 from the PlayStation Store to download.
