Fans of PC strategy games will want to check out the just-released Disciples III: Renaissance demo, the latest installment in the beloved series. As mentioned before, this one is from Akella who don't have the greatest reputation, but having played it, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't get much time with it, but it does feel like a Disciples game, to be sure, and a decent one at worst.
The demo is a few gigabytes in size, and packs three races, a pretty handy tutorial, and a few full missions from The Empire, The Legions of the Damned and the Elven Alliance campaigns.
While still a bit clunky, the game does feel fairly accessible (in the positive sense), so give it a shot via one of the links below if you're up for some good strategy gameplay. Also included here are some snapshots from the demo.
