Civilization V Special Edition brings units to life

Civilization V Special Edition brings units to life

Okay, this is pretty cool: Europe is getting a special edition of Civilization V that includes some awesome goods to go on sale along with the normal version of the game.

This special edition includes a“Behind the Scenes at Firaxis on Civilization V ” DVD, a 2-disc CD soundtrack of select music tracks, a 176-page hardcover art book, and five metal figurines based on in-game units made by Reaper Miniatures. While this isn't a pre-order offer, don't take too long to plunk down the $99.99 US / 59.99 UK after the game's release on September 21 (September 24 in the UK) or you'll miss out.

While you're waiting for the "one more turn" madness to begin once again, have a gander at some screens and think about some older campaigns to get a new coat of paint in Civ V. Just don't poke or scratch your screen with the figurines when you lose a unit.
