Cataclysm closed beta begins

It's time to use up all your sick days you addicts: Blizzard's let word out that the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm closed beta has officially started.

Invites have begun to be sent out to lucky participants but only if they signed up for Battle.net service and opted into the beta (which would probably include every single WoW subscriber). Of course this also means juicy details such as class updates and new zone information should be making their way out online if there isn't an NDA in place.

For those who still don't know what Cataclysm brings to World of Warcraft, all you need to know is that big ol' dragon known as Deathwing has come back from Warcraft II and went to town on Azeroth. The changing lands and shifts in power has brought in all sorts of new problems and opportunites for everyone.
