Polycount Pack adds community items to Team Fortress 2

Polycount Pack adds community items to Team Fortress 2

While Valve has committed to add more content to Team Fortress 2after the release of the Engineer unlockables, it doesn't mean it'll be the only source of new content coming from them. A recent contest was held to find some of the best items from the TF2 community and Valve's picked the winners.

The "Polycount Pack" will add new unlockable items for the Pyro, Scout, Sniper, Soldier, and Spy. Each class will get two new weapons (the Scout gets an extra lunchbox item) and a stylish hat to help them look good while fighting and dying in the battlefield. There's also the possibility of new achievements to unlock according to a poster showing off the "Croc-O-Style Pack" for the Sniper.

Also worth mentioning is Valve found half of the 70 Polycount submissions are worthy enough to be put in the game so they'll be implemented in the future. With so many items on the way, Team Fortress 2 will be needing that item trade system everyone wants to use real soon.
