Many gamers are looking forward to the new Medal of Honor, what with the franchise being out of commission for so long. The FPS wars are escalating at the same time, with EA and Activision going head to head, fighting for genre domination.
As Call of Duty maintains its grip, EA's fighting back, wielding their not-so-secret weapon without shame -- I mean DICE, by the way. The Battlefield developers are making their mark in the Medal of Honor, molding the multiplayer as EALA takes care of the campaign, with some assistance from Tier 1 Operators.
You'll get a taste of the new MoH in a week, when the multiplayer beta launches for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 next Monday, June 21. If you happen to be Bad Company 2 VIP and pre-order MoH, then the beta will become available to you this Thursday, June 17.
The EA press conference today, we watched 24 players participate in Team Assault, a team deathmatch mode. The map, Kabul City Ruins, is one of two available in the MP beta, the other being Helmand Valley.
