Finally tonight, JoWooD has announced that they've released a new patch (v1.08) for their Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods expansion. Weighing in at a hefty 240MB, this update features general gameplay balancing, new items (weapons, armor and shields), text and voice over fixes, and adds "functional" Parry/Shield Parry abilities to the game.
