Mirror's Edge Time Trial DLC comes today

Mirrors Edge Time Trial DLC comes today

As previously reported, the downloadable content (DLC) for Mirror's Edge was delayed until this month. No specific date was given for the new schedule, and it seems DICE has surprised us by just releasing it today (on all three platforms).

The content is a series of map packs for the Time Trial mode, if you haven't heard, though not your ordinary style. To illustrate, a new trailer:

The pack is selling for £7 ($10 USD) or 800 Microsoft points; PlayStation 3 owners can acquire an extra map free of charge.

Our staffer Lydia Sung should have a review up on the new content later today, so look out for it.

DICE also reminds the 2D version of the game, created by Fancy Pants' Brad Borne, goes live tomorrow. The website is www.mirrorsedge2d.com.
