Mount & Blade multiplayer expansion coming

Mount & Blade multiplayer expansion coming

Perhaps the most successful PC game to ever come out of Turkey, Mount & Blade, will be gaining an expansion. Published Paradox Interactive announced recently that Mount & Blade -- a fantastic combat -centered RPG from TaleWorlds Entertainment -- is set to receive an expansion pack.

Featuring huge battles, incredible mod support, and the best simulation of horse-mounted combat yet made, Mount & Blade received a great deal of acclaim last year and won over many PC gamers with its originality.

The first expansion pack for the game will feature a multiplayer mode which will allow for up to 32 players (and maybe more) to get in a big huge battle, deathmatch style, online.

The new expansion pack will also include the following features:
• Improved strategic AI
• Extended diplomatic options, allowing the player to wield more power
• State-of the-art rendering technologies introduced for the first time, including the addition of High Dynamic Range (HDR)

A release date, or price, has not been announced.
