American McGee’s Alice Sequel Announced

American McGee’s Alice Sequel Announced

Creating a little buzz today, Electronic Arts and Spicy Horse Games have announced that they'll be teaming up to create a sequel to EA's 2000 Action-Adventure title, American McGee's Alice. Tentatively titled "The Return of American McGee's Alice", the ga 203a me is still in the early stages of development, so details are pretty sparse at the moment. But what we do know is that the game is headed to "even darker, more exciting places" and will be showing up on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Here's a little snippet from the press release:

“This new project is a dream come true for me and the fans who’ve kept the Alice flame alive,” said American McGee, senior creative director at Spicy Horse. “EA gave us creative latitude and support on the original game which resulted in something beautiful and daring. This trip through the looking glass promises to be even more exciting.”

The original was pretty awesome back in the day. Can't wait to see what they do with the sequel! :D
