PC probably isn't the most popular platform for Modern Warfare 2, what with all the server drama. Doesn't mean Activision just wants to let it die.
So starting tomorrow, April 8, Steam and Acti will be holding a free-to-play Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer event. The Free Weekend promotion only requires the MW2 multiplayer pre-load, which should already be available. Of course, anyone who understands these Steam weekend events should also be prepared for the incredibly slow download speed. Slooooow.
Not to mention the lag when you're actually playing. Other than that, have fun!
