Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition announced for PC

Legendary Edition announced for PC

Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition is coming to PCs this winter, bringing with it a whole lot of new content. The aim here appears to be to fill in the major gaps wherein the original Fantasy Football title was strongly lacking, though whether or not this will truly satisfy fans remains to be seen. More, it appears those who bought the original game will have to pony up for this special release.

Aside from the original races, 12 new ones make the cut, including Undeads, Ogres and Amazons. Also in store are new stadiums like the snowy Norse stadium or the crypt arena.

Story mode is the last major addition. Here you play a freelance coach leading several famous teams and taking up numerous challenges, all showing you the origins of Blood Bowl, the Old World, and more. Newcomers needn't fear as a new tutorial will teach all that's needed.

Under the hood, there are heaps of additions and updates to the ruleset, in keeping with the newest Living Rulebook as used in all board game tourneys.
