Free weekly DLC coming for Splinter Cell: Conviction

Conviction

Ubisoft has just announced all Splinter Cell: Conviction owners will be treated to free weekly content starting tomorrow. Each Thursday you can download the likes of new weapons, skins or a new Deniable Ops map from the Extras section of the menu. Note this is for the Xbox 360 version and the PC version. Tomorrow all players will receive the MP7A1 Machine Pistol.

It's a pretty random move by Ubisoft, who are generally known for paid DLC, but a very welcome one by us. However, we must note again it's a shame they didn't use this route on the PC version as a means to fight piracy like EA has been doing with the likes of Dragon Age and The Sims 3.

Anyway, enjoy the goods!
