Left 4 Dead 2 "The Passing" DLC arrives next week

Left 4 Dead 2 The Passing DLC arrives next week

Like a Tank spawning in a Safe Room, Valve breaks the silence by announcing "The Passing" will be available for Left 4 Dead 2 next week.

First announced late last year, "The Passing" has Coach, Ellis, Nick, and Rochelle cross over with three of the original Left 4 Dead survivors (yep, one of them's dead). As the L4D2 crew make their way through a small Georgia town, they'll face the new Fallen Survivor uncommon and Witch Brides dressed in wedding gowns. To assist the humans, a golf club melee weapon and the high-powered M60 machine gun (which can't be reloaded) will be introduced.

In addition, more Survival and Scavenge maps will be available and new game modes also make the cut. Further news about "The Passing" will be made next week. And for you Xbox 360 owners, be sure to have 560 Microsoft Points on hand to purchase the upcoming DLC.
