Grabbing our attention this afternoon, Valve Software has officially announced plans to bring their Steam digital distribution service to the Mac this April, along with a library of in-house games including: Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal, and the Half-Life series. Complimenting Steam's Mac launch will be a new feature called "Steam Play", which allows you to purchase a game and play it on both PC and Mac at no extra charge, with full cross-platform Steam Cloud support and shared multiplayer servers/lobbies. They also note that all future Valve games will be released simultaneously on both platforms starting with Portal 2 later this year. Click here to learn more! :D
