Test Drive Unlimited 2 announced for consoles, PC

Eden Games is now developing a sequel to their well-received arcade racer Test Drive Unlimited, released in 2006.

Set for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, Test Drive Unlimited 2 (TDU2) will again be going a bit the MMO route, this time branding it "Massively Open Online Racing." This feature set is described as a persistent online environment with racing communities, achievements and creations, similar to Burnout Paradise, for those that haven't played the original.

There will still be a single-player mode of course, which is said to blend seamlessly with the multiplayer.

If you were looking forward to another arcade-style racing game, you may want to look elsewhere, however: TDU2 will sport "realistic vehicles and performance dynamics" this time. There's a long list of other features too:
