Combat Arms gets weapons update, new crates

Combat Arms gets weapons update, new crates

New guns, new explosives, new crates. The latest Combat Arms update has all these, and the rare weapons you may find in these crate are absolutely tantalizing.

Nexon released new screenshots for today's major update, adding three new weapons: AA-12 Shotgun, M417 SB machine gun and M93 Hornet Mine.

As for crates? Weapon-specific supply crates can actually be purchased with Gear Points now (in-game currency), so players who prefer not to spend read money on NX Cash can now reap the same benefits with time and skill. Crates, for those unfamiliar, offer rare weapons without rank requirements.

If you've already got a high enough rank, some rare weapons normally sold for GP can be unlocked.

A new Weapon Renewal system has also been added, allowing players to extend their weapon durations from one day to permanent. Basically, you don't need to worry about weapon expirations, though the kit itself costs 1,500 NX and can be used only once.
