If you've already got your mind set on Dragon Age II, this should be a no brainer. As with its predecessor, EA is selling early copies of the game (bought before January 11) with additional content at no extra charge in the form of a "Signature Edition." It's not actually specified (we're checking with EA), but presumably if you hold off, you'll be able to spend $20 on the content later (or get it in about a year in some "Ultimate Edition").
It's actually a pretty good deal if you like soundtracks, as that's included aside from the additional items, quests, digital armory, and character you see above. For the rest, it might be questionable as to whether or not the content should've been included for all copies, but if Dragon Age: Origins is anything to go by (and it is), the base game should contain tons of value on its own. And hey, it beats DRM (presumably this will be excluded again).
We're still waiting on a gameplay trailer to show up to hopefully ease our fears after seeing the leaked footage -- as you know, changes are afoot...hopefully for the better.
Update: EA says there's no word on making the content paid DLC as of yet. We'll keep you posted.
