You remember the news about 11 Bit Studios don't you? They're a brand new studio comprising CD Projekt and Metropolis Software staff -- two very talented outfits -- and with a focus on high value digital games.
Their first title has just been revealed -- titled Anomaly: Warzone Earth, it's pegged as “an arcade approach to the real-time strategy genre.” Environments are urban and the enemy is "alien robot baddies." You'll be using tactics, squads, and military vehicles to take down the opponent -- though it sounds very much arcade-style, there is a story-driven campaign with "dynamically changing objectives."
Looks like a neat little game, anyway, with an original twist the genre desperately needs -- we can't wait to get our hands on it.
No platforms or release date are announced as of yet, but we're guessing PC for now, with possibly more platforms to come later.
