Shattered Horizon "Moonrise" Out Now

Futuremark Games Studio has released the much-awaited Moonrise content pack for Shattered Horizon. The free pack includes four all-new levels - "Deadeye", "Slingshot" and "Searchlight" and "Ten Star". These levels take the ISA vs. MMC grudge match to fresh zero-g battlegrounds that provide some interesting new twists for battles. Official press release says;

"Shattered Horizon’s space setting allows us to create stunning environments unlike anything you will find in other FPS games," said Jaakko Haapasalo, producer at Futuremark Games Studio. "The free Moonrise pack doubles the number of levels in the game with each one offering a different zero gravity combat experience."

To promote the launch of the content pack, FGS has rolled out a cool trailer showcasing the new environments.

There is also a set of new screenshots showing off the levels that stick to the hard sci-fi style of Shattered Horizon.

To round things up, there is a new dedicated server for those who wish to host their own, adding support for the new maps - you can grab it either via Steam or directly from the Shattered Horizon official site (here, server version 1.1.0.6). All that, completely free, should raise a few eyebrows among those who thought Shattered Horizon didn't include enough levels.
