Fellow dungeon crawlers, it's time to venture beyond the town of Torchlight. Torchlight IIwill see players explore the continent of Vilderan in Spring 2011 and they'll be joined by friends to help out.
Whether it's over LAN or the internet, everyone will encounter the new randomized overworld and dungeons that are filled with enemies and oodles of treasure. Along with the Destroyer, Vanquisher, Alchemist, and cast of pets will be a new fourth class; veterans will also be able to "retire" so that they can pass on bonuses to new characters making their first journey. The TorchEd mod editor will also be making a return to support all the new features.
If you're wondering about that free Torchlight MMO, it's still on the way as planned so sit tight. And if you still don't know what's the deal with Torchlight, you can buy it at a nice 75% discount from GamersGate starting August 5.
