In a few weeks, on August 24, Klei's 2D brawler Shank will be debuting on Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network. PC gamers are still awaiting a date, though Klei and publisher EA have narrowed a release period down to this fall.
The story takes place in a stylish gang-infested world and revolves around Shank, a man driven by his thirst for revenge. We're not sure exactly why he's so angry, but it does have something to do with betrayal.
Just to get your appetite going, we've got a few pieces of concept artwork from the game. A couple depict Shank himself, along with the Butcher guy who towers over our hero. Although, if you saw this guy behind the counter at your local meat shop, you'd probably back out the door very slowly...
