If your PC copy of Street Fighter IV is sitting lonely on the shelf, Mortal Kombat designer and series creator Ed Boon says he may have the cure for what ails you.
"We're definitely considering [bringing it to PC]. I've thought 'How many fighting game players are PC guys?' Apparently there seems to be a market for that in Europe. Since we're on the Unreal Engine, I guess it's not that much of a change from the console versions."
The Unreal engine is certainly PC friendly -- it is where it originated and all, and hey, it worked well for Arkham Asylum, which was also published by Warner Bros.
But is there enough of an audience to warrant a release? Last we checked in (quite some time ago), Capcom felt "okay" about Street Fighter IV sales on the platform, though with many deals since then, we'd think many more gamers have warmed up to the idea of a PC fighter. Here's hoping.
