Mass Effect 2 "Overlord" DLC revealed, priced

Mass Effect 2 Overlord DLC revealed, priced

Technology is out to get us, and the upcoming Mass Effect 2 add-on proves as much. If you played through the first ME, then you already know about the transition from AI to VI programs.

In the upcoming DLC, titled "Overlord," an experiment that fused a human with VI intelligence gets out of control, creating the somewhat psychotic "VI overlord." With an ability to control any technology around it, the new human-VI hybrid is now running amuck, attacking Cerberus bases across the planet and sending Geth out to do its dirty work. If Shepard (that's you) can't stop it, the Overlord will beam off-planet and assault neighboring systems.

The DLC adds five new areas for your Paragoning or Renegading pleasure. No release date was confirmed, but the new content will go for 560 Microsoft/BioWare Points, the equivalent of $7.00 USD.
