Many PC gamers are familiar with TweakGuides.com, a top resource for getting optimal performance for PC games and also Windows operating systems. Last year, its owner Koroush Ghazi decided to end his series of excellent guides for financial reasons -- apparently it just wasn't worth it anymore. Since then he's been focusing almost solely on software and game updates, and miscellaneous items of note within the community.
Not too long after this, though, he managed to strike a deal with an unnamed company, which would publish his guides and compensate him directly. Today the first is finally released, and as suspected it's for the ever-popular Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and published by NVIDIA for their newly redesigned GeForce.com website. Rest assured, however, the guides are not written solely for NVIDIA users.
Unfortunately for some, the guide doesn't go into advanced tweaking much -- Koroush notes on his website that for a variety of reasons, only very significant advanced tweaks will be covered from now on. Making up for this somewhat, however, is excellent web design and also NVIDIA lab gear which makes navigating the guide and checking out comparison screenshots and benchmarks and the like much more user friendly and informative.
We highly recommend heading to the source to check out the guide if you're a Bad Company 2 owner. If not, two more guides will be arriving in the next few weeks, with presumably many more to come as time goes on.
