I Am Alive shifting into Ubisoft's fiscal 2011

I Am Alive shifting into Ubisofts fiscal 2011

Recently Ubisoft confirmed that their upcoming survival-adventure title, I Am Alive, will not be launching during the company's 2010-2011 fiscal year. It's not the first time the game has been delayed, due to the team " totally re-engineering the product" -- as well as the shift of management into the hands of Ubisoft's internal Shanghai studio.

However, Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemont says I Am Alive is still on its way and will harness the same engine that is powering Splinter Cell: Conviction.

I Am Alive debuted back at E3 2008, and from the word go it seemed to gather a following within the gaming community. With Ubisoft's 2010 lineup already crammed full of promising titles, including Assassin's Creed III. A bit of distance from the rest of the pack may be what this promising IP needs.
