EA partners up with Dr. Pepper for DLC promotion

EA partners up with Dr. Pepper for DLC promotion

Electronic Arts has teamed up with Dr. Pepper to give away codes for drinkers of the fizzy beverage. These codes are good for redeeming DLC towards current and upcoming EA games such as The Sims 3, Battlefield: Bad Company2, and Mass Effect 2.

Until December 31, 2010, bottled varieties of Dr. Pepper, Dr. Pepper Cherry, Diet Dr. Pepper, and Diet Dr. Pepper Cherry will contain a code under the cap for redemption. Those who are just absolutely parched can look forward to 7 Eleven stores and other participating locations for codes printed on fountain drink cups later in the year. Codes can then be redeemed here where you can pick out your DLC of choice.

The actual DLC available isn't too shabby either; for example, Spore players can look forward to adding 14 mechanical parts to their creature editor. Don't wait too long to claim your content as there are limited amounts of DLC available per game. Once they've run out, substitute downloads will take their place.
