VVVVVV VVVVVV VVVVVV...
It's not too often a game like VVVVVV comes around. It's weird as hell, hard as hell, and in a world where console wars are rampant and fanboys pop a vein at the latest "H-Deee graphx", it harkens back to the Atari era (1980s Atari, not Infogrames-Atari).
So why should you care? Cause it's awesome, of course. That and it's always good to know where it all came from.
VVVVVV should prove enjoyable for Mega Man and Cave Story fans, as it bears similarity to both (and the creator is a fan of the latter, at the least). You can download the newly-released demo or play the flash version via the source link, where it's also purchasable for 15 big ones. Fans of the keyboard noises of yesteryear can grab the soundtrack on SoulEye at four or 10 small ones.
