Although the PC release of Grand Theft Auto IV is coming about 8 months after the console release, the PC version is shaping up quite nicely. Probably the best thing it has going for it is the higher resolutions and better graphics that the PC version will be capable of.
Beyond the better graphics, there are a number of other small features that Rockstar is plying to the game. Confirmed today, Grand Theft Auto IV will be able to handle 32 simultanoues players online at a time -- which is double the 16 that the console versions can handle. Besides the boosted player limit, there are no other changes to multiplayer.
The most noteworthy feature being added to the PC port of GTA IV is the in-game video editor feature. It allows for a great deal of control in position and recording and making in-game movies of Niko in action. The follow three videos show it in action -- the first one shows how it is used, the second and third videos are demo videos made with it.
This video editor feature looks like it'll become a holy grail for machinima makers.
