Neoseeker drops by Ironclad Games

Neoseeker drops by Ironclad Games

You probably heard of Sins of a Solar Empire. The formula for the game went something like this: .33(Master of Orion 2) + .33(Homeworld) + .33(Command & Conquer) - D.R.M = one of the best selling PC strategy games of recent years. You might have not heard much on the makers of this ton's-of-fun game, Ironclad Games.

Ironclad Games is based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Burnaby B.C is sort of like an unfashionable outgrowth of metropolitan Vancouver (just joking), where Neoseeker HQ is based. Our intrepid staff game-shark Adrian dropped by Ironclad to say hi.

Basically, what follows is a brief plug for the upcoming Sins expansion Entrenchment. Due November 18th,this expansion will introduce a number of cool things, the most notable being starbases (hello!), new defensive platforms, and weapon upgrades.

Not following conventions -- and doing so successfully so far -- Ironclad will be selling three micro-expansions, for less money ($10), instead of making one giant $40+ expansion pack. Entrapment is the first of the three micro-expansions.

Consider this video a preview of a preview -- coming up soon we'll have a longer and closer look at Ironclad Games, and we'll talk to the dev's a bit more depth on what they have in store for all you RTS4x gamers out there.
