The Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 team continued its tradition of releasing ridiculous and over-the-top trailers today. This one features some astonishing acting, a spot-on Albert Einstein look-alike, giant Japanese robo-samurai, and a large breasted Russian. Of course, all of these are considered to be key elements for a successful trailer, by preeminent game trailer researchers all over the place.
The release of this trailer coincides with Red Alert 3 going gold today. The game should be in stores on October 28th for the PC, while an Xbox version is coming November 11th.
For those of you don't know, Red Alert 3 is real-time strategy game. In the alternate timeline of Red Alert 3, the Japanese are on a terrible rampage across the Earth, with giant robots or some such. In this alternate take on reality, Russia was tapped the genuis of Nicola Tesla to build massive blimps that shoot lighting. Not to be outdone by Tesla, Albert Einstein built a time machine to take out Adolf Hitler -- this of course back-fired, and created a war even more devastating than World War II, (which didn't happen), in Red Alert 3.
