Aion ischugging along quite nicely for everyone, but there's a bit of concern from the community about level progression in the young MMO. NCSoft is responding with a hearty "no sweat" as they will roll out the foundation towards a permanent solution for the grinding that'll begin in just a few days.
Over the next three weekends, all characters from Level 1 to Level 35 will receive double experience points. If you're out of that range, no need to fret as this also extends to crafting and gathering experience as well. After the three weekends are up, you can expect at least one or two double EXP weekends every month. Further extending the bonuses is a new patch that will be rolled out this week to make Soul Healing cheaper and increase the bonus bestowed from the Energy of Repose buff for anyone between Level 20 and Level 44.
It's a bit odd NCSoft would choose these levels to receive the bonuses as the concern stems from quest EXP tapering off after Level 35; anything before that has merited no real complaints from anyone. Still, NCSoft says this is just a short-term remedy and a patch is on the way for next year to provide a long-term solution. And you really can't say no to double EXP from crafting and gathering.
