Valve has an answer for that Left 4 Dead 2 itch. Pre-order the game and you'll get early access to the demo on October 27. Those who are waiting for the demo to see if they want to pre-order can try it out in November, via Steam or participating retailers.
A second early access round falls on November 3, when the demo is open to Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers and PC gamers. For everyone else, November 10 is the magic day. Valve is promising another memorable co-op experience, complete with machetes, baseball bats, frying pans, chainsaws -- you get the idea.
The demo will feature a segment of "The Parish" campaign, set in tne New Orleans French Quarter. Left 4 Dead's A.I. Director 2.0 also ensures the gameplay will stay fresh, with changing weather effects, world objects, shifting enemy population, and new pathways. Just remember to stay together.
