Piranha Bytes spiritual successor to the beloved Gothic RPG series, titled Risen is releasing tomorrow on the PC (Q1 2010 on Xbox 360), and right on time they've released a demo for you to grab.
Previously the developer had launched a linear web-based version of the game to give us an idea of the gameplay, which we found quite enjoyable, but naturally a proper demo is much better.
We won't spoil the setting, but feel free to have a look at this sweet trailer to give you an idea if it's something you're after.
The download sits at just over 1GB, which isn't too bad compared to some of the monsters coming out these days. Grab it at your source of choice below.
