Red Faction: Guerrilla launched for PC

Guerrilla launched for PC

Red Faction: Guerrilla is now ready to go, if you want to play it on the PC. THQ is suggesting a $40 price tag for the game.

Guerrilla already came out for the Xbox 360 and PS 3 earlier in the summer, in June. Generally people will be quite pleased with the game, and most critics gave the game a favorable review. While the storyline, pacing and plot of the game didn't seem to impress many people, the extremely destructable environments, and the intense bouts of action won over many gamers and critics.

As per the usual standard, if you have a decent gaming PC, you'll be able to run the game at a superior resolution than you would on the console versions. “Gamers can expect the same top quality from the PC version, with the added benefits of DirectX10 support, bonus downloadable content and additional technical advancements...the PC version features higher graphical quality through the support of Direct X10, as well as smooth, customizable controls, resulting in a visually impressive, high performance product," said a marketing guy from THQ.

Games for Windows LIVE is going to be handling the multiplayer component of the game.

To celebrate the launch of the PC version, a new trailer was released today.

Watch out for the Earth Defense Force. All they want to do is take our precious Martian resources, such as our red rocks, and red dust clouds. They'll never succeed! Viva la revolution!
