Looks like Blizzard wasn't just boasting when it proclaimed StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty as the bestselling PC game yet for 2010, and surely the fastest selling RTS (real-time strategy) game of all time. It's been just over a month since the game was released worldwide across no fewer than 5 continents and in 11 different languages, and Blizzard today confirms that unit sales have now topped 3 million.
Half of the lifetime sales were already secured during the first 48 hours of StarCraft II's release back in late July, but to garner at least another 1.5 million units in sales over the past month is still pretty darn impressive for a PC game these days.
