Bloody Good Time takes cartoon violence to new levels

Bloody Good Time takes cartoon violence to new levels

Ubisoft's upcoming shooter might raise a few eyebrows, with its juxtaposition of cartoon visuals and violence. Outrageous characters armed with guns, flamethrowers, woks, and other weapons go head to head in colorful backdrops.

It's called Bloody Good Time, and if the name weren't ridiculous enough, there isn't a logical explanation for it either. Currently, the game sounds like a mock movie production. You'll be choosing from a number of themes and Hollywood sets, with beach houses and a Vegas hotel being a couple examples.

Ultimately, the point is killing. As the player, your job is to think of new and creative ways of killing other "B-movie characters," like a jock, beach babe, or clown. No release date or much other info has been released yet -- just that BGT will be exclusive to XBLA and Steam -- so these screenshots will have to do.
