Borderlands 1.01 patch released

Borderlands 1.01 patch released

Been plugging away at Gearbox's co-op shooter RPG? Well, little buddy, things got a little better as of late last evening, when the developer released the first patch for the game, fixing up numerous bugs and improving several features and functions, including server support, voice chat, and 3D Vision.

Note of course digital versions of the PC title must be patched through the outlet you purchased from -- those updates should be available shortly.

Update 1.0.1 Notes:

Characters that have lost skill points will have the lost points refundedClients will no longer lose proficiency progress upon leaving a co-op gameItem cards now display the intended five lines of detail textLilith's Phase strike and melee attacks from Phase Walk now function as intendedVoicechat: users can now control volume and individually mute playersFixed a bug that sometimes caused CL4P-TP to stop progressing during the introductionServer browser population times have been improvedServer information should now always display the correct plot missionBenchmarking feature now works as intendedNvidia 3D Vision visuals now render shadows correctly (requires minimum 195.28 drivers, available from nVidia)
