Shattered Horizon Patch 1.0.1.2 Today

Futuremark Games Studio just reported that the first patch for Shattered Horizon is rolling out later today. Servers are already updated (and will continue to work with the old client until new one is pushed through Steam) while the client will auto-update through Steam in the next couple of hours.

Shattered Horizon 1.0.1.2 Patch NotesFrames Per Second-counter, press F4 to toggle on/offMemory allocation improvedAmbient Occlusion set off as defaultFixed: Strange behaviour of astronauts during end round fadeoutFixed: Incorrect ' selected' voice in team selection screenFixed: Rare bug of grenades flying through wallsFixed: Bugs in visual settings (AO and post processing was not always saved)Fixed: Rare crash bug ('scene manager not found')Shattered Horizon Server Patch NotesAdded anti-TK auto-kickMemory allocation improvedCyclops achievement is now achievable

Here is how the anti-TK auto-kick version 1.0 works: It counts the percentage of damage you are doing to friendlies and hostiles. If you have done too much friendly damage when compared to the damage d20b5ealt to hostiles, you will get booted and banned for ten minutes from that server. Exact percentage and ban length is obviously configurable. Note that it counts the damage for a while before dishing out a kick so if you accidentally TK at the start of the match, you will have time to mend your crimes.

Cyclops achievement has also been retroactively granted to everyone who completed it in previous games.

So, just a small initial patch to quickly fix some obvious defects. FGS also indicated that the first content patch is very much under development and we'll probably hear more about it Soon(tm).
