Keeping the good news coming, Stardock and Ironclad Games have officially announced the development of Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment, a micro-expansion for their hit 4x RTS. Due out later this year, the expansion will feature new Starbase defense platforms for each race, turret upgrades, mine fields and a Subspace Inhibitor platform that slows enemy ships within a specific range. Here's a little snippet from the press release:
"Sins of a Solar Empire, which was already an amazing game experience, is getting some outstanding ways to conquer others or defend your race," said Stardock CEO and President Brad Wardell. "We’re excited about being able to deliver expansion 2041 packs in a more modular way than traditionally. Now players can pick and choose what features they want rather than paying a higher price for a larger expansion pack which may have features they aren’t interested in."
Entrenchment will be available exclusively through Stardock's Impulse digitial distribution service for $9.95. Pre-orders are available today!
