We've seen bits of the revamped Sky Sanctuary Zone in Sonic Generations but now it's time to stop and take a good look at the scenery. New screenshots show off some neat stills of Sky Sanctuary and Emerald Coast, the latter appearing in the 3DS version of Sonic Generations. Remember that mean-looking purple creature from the Bosses and Rivals trailer? That big guy is called the Time Eater and seems to be acting on its own, unlike other troubles caused by Dr. Robotnik. It's not often you see a Sonic foe work independently from the evil doctor. Sonic Generations releases on November 1 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The 3DS version of Sonic Generations goes on sale November 25.
