Warner Bros. Interactive today confirms it has shipped no fewer than 4.6 million copies of Batman: Arkham City globally since it first launched October 18th. The shipment figure alone is double the amount of copies of Batman: Arkham Asylum sold during its week on the market back in 2009, so it's a pretty good bat-sign that the sequel is on its way to being a top seller. With over 4 million copies prepared for Arkham City's shipment, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are counting on Rocksteady's latest vision of the Dark Knight to be a big seller this year even amidst some serious competition in October alone.
