Now that Portal 2's Peer Review DLC has been released, it's time to look forward to the next piece of download content. In early 2012, Portal 2 receives an in-game editor that lets players create their own test chambers. Single-player and co-op test chambers can be designed and built with the editor then later shared with the community. Once a level is released to the public, other players can play and vote on these custom maps. There were some authoring tools released earlier this year but they can only run on PCs. This new editor should make map creation accessible to plenty more people.
