Spreading the good news tonight, Tripwire Interactive has announced that they'll be adding Steam Achievements and a new map to Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 sometime next week. The new map, titled "Fallen Heroes", is apparently a level that was cut from the game's initial release back in 2006, but has since been resurrected by a popular community mapper named Kevin “Dr. Guppy” Butt. It's described as "a brutal combined arms battle set on the iconic 'Red Square' in downtown Stalingrad." You can find some screenshots of the new map and a list of Steam achievements right here!
