CCP has published the official launch trailer for the tenth EVE expansion, titled EVE Online: Apocrypha. Together with the expansion CCP will also launch a boxed version of the game on March 10th with Atari acting as a distributor.

In addition to new weapon and module effects and other graphical upgrades, Apocrypha also adds countless new and uncharted solar systems accessible through wormholes all around the known space. These new systems will contain lot of interesting resources but is guarded by "Sleepers" - a new breed of NPC enemies with completely reworked AI. Terrible tales of mayhem and destruction has filtered from the EVE test servers, indicating that even veterans of EVE will find some worthy enemies to shoot at. For new players, Apocrypha presents a revamped character creation system that eases the early EVE "learning cliff" considerably.
With Apocrypha, EVE system requirements will also be updated, with the minimum requirements raising to a Shader Model 2.0-capable video card. You can check out the new EVE system requirements here.
