E3 game trailer roundup

E3 game trailer roundup

A whole flood of videos came out today, first being seen at E3. We chose some of the more interesting ones to show you here.

Each time E3 rolls around, there is always news you expect to hear, and then to a lesser extent, news that you really didn't imagine you'd hear. This first video falls into that second category; word is that more zombies are coming:

Left 4 Dead 2? I thought they were still working on the DLC for the first title.

Next up, we have what might be the early fan favorite for best trailer of the show. This cinematic look into the setting for BioWare's MMORPG project, Stars Wars: The Old Republic.

Here is another surprise: a new trailer for cop'n'criminal MMO A.P.B. I thought this one had been canned after not hearing about it for a while. It looks like it has come along way over the last year:

Now here is a new Borderlands trailer. It doesn't show off too much though -- can Gearbox pull off a FPS/APRG MMO? It looks promising. The art direction change seems like a good move to me.

Overlord II. Action adventure, third person. Writing courtesy of Rhianna Pratchett (who also wrote Mirror's Edge). They've been promising much more to do with your minions you control, in this sequel. For this video it looks they went retro, early-government-info-film style, a la Fallout 3.

Assassin's Creed 2 continues the storyline of dudes jumping through time in order to stab people with knives. Perhaps the sequel will overcome some of the repetitive nuances of the first game.

Here is a look at the gameplay of the new upcoming DJ Hero game. Rock Band VS Guitar Hero? Now it's Scratch VS. DJ Hero. The gameplay is pretty much as you would expect:

And finally, here is your chance to get dirty with Colin McRae, in Colin McRae: DiRT 2.

Oh -- we have a late coming arrival. Looks like Ninja Gaiden: Sigma 2 is ready to get the ninja-ball rolling:

Looks like gamers have much to look forward. Long live E3. Stay tuned for more coverage from three of our intrepid Neoseeker reporters at the event.
