Volition is bringing back Saints Row for the 2011 holiday season, dubbedSaints Row: The Third. Players once again play as a member of the Third Street Saints to take on a worldwide crime group.
Taking place years after Saints Row 2, the Third Street Saints run the city of Stilwater undisputed and have become a household name. An elite criminal organization known as The Syndicate has taken notice of the Saints and demands tribute from them. The Saints won't stand for any of The Syndicate's nonsense and head out to a new city to confront the bullying group and show them who's boss.
Volition is promising "the most outlandish gameplay scenarios ever seen" while ditching some of the sillier mission types like pizza deliveries and ferrying family members around the city. Saints Row: The Third will be available for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 when it goes on sale.
