Portal 2 PS3 supports cross-platform chat and play with Steam users

Portal 2 PS3 supports cross-platform chat and play with Steam users

PlayStation 3 owners are getting a lot of love from Valve thanks to some awesome features found in Portal 2. For starters, you can unlock the full PC (and Mac) version of Portal 2 if you link your PlayStation Network account with a Steam account.

As if that wasn't good enough already, Portal 2 supports cross-platform multiplayer with PC/Mac and PS3 players so you Steam users can play some co-op with your console buddies. Cross-platform chat is also available if you just want to catch up with friends.

Portal 2 PS3 also has cloud-based storage for saved games so you can continue from where you left off on any other PS3 console just by logging in with your PSN account. You can team up with friends once Portal 2 is released on April 20 (April 22 in Europe).
