Blackfire's Mod 2 pushes Crysis 2 graphics further

Blackfire's Mod 2 pushes Crysis 2 graphics further

The DirectX 11 upgrade for Crysis 2 satisfied some PC enthusiasts, but certainly not all. In either case, you'll want to check out Blackfire's Mod 2, a significant graphics upgrade to Crytek's shooter sequel, packing much higher resolution textures, improved shadows, redesigned lighting, and more. Note some tessellation will be removed if you're on DirectX 11 (it's compatible with 9 as well), and some users have complained about shadows, so you may want to play through without this mod first if you haven't already. When you do, be sure to start a new game. A 1GB card is recommended, though 512MB should do fine, too. Hit the source for installation instructions, comparison screens, and all needed downloads.
